Oh look who’s here, it’s February!
13 years since “wazzzup” is used and it’s still cool today. 13 years. Wow.
Thank God for a good start to February 2017! Today have been quite productive, whereby I’ve written out 1 full article and drafted out another one. Not too shabby.
Reminder: add images for the pending articles.
Started out the 21-Day Challenge reading by YouVersion. And I like that slogan this year, “Big Changes Start Small”.
To mark this begining of 21 Days of seeking God, I’m starting out with R.C. Sproul’s read on “Understanding God’s Purpose”. Seems like a good material to start this 21 days challenge. For Sproul’s read, it’s 5 days!
I guess I’ll be able to share more interesting things in the next 20 days! 😀
Bee-tee-dubs, the devotion cover for February is so pretty. ❤
First devotion of the month begins with Luke 4:1-15. Facing Temptations.
Coincidentally, that’s what I’m going through right now. Cravings to eat when I’m already full and buying things that I don’t really need, these “activities” are killing me. I couldn’t even go through well with one day of no sweetened drinks and Jesus lasted 40 days.
But I got reminded that it was the same thing that I went through with Coke. And today, I’m proud to say it’s been 4 years since I last had Coke. Pepsi too, for that matter.
Back to the devotion. The questions that were asked on how we deal with temptations and are we hiding our weaknesses really helps me to deal with this issue well. It’s still tough, but at least I am reminded that if there’s more struggles that I may face in the future, there’s no shame about it.
“Humbly allow others to see God’s power in the midst of your struggles”
That’s like the best mini testimony you can show to the people around you that God works in you and you with Him.
Well, our God is here to help you deal with any temptations and struggles so don’t hide it, don’t give the devil a chance to spoil an opportunity for God’s glory to be revealed!
With that, I pray for blessing and the spirit of courage over you if you’re facing any of these issues and that the Lord will be sovereign over all of them!
Stay cute and stay blessed everyone! ❤
