What a great start to an amazing sermon series. Can’t wait for next week’s sermon message!

Thanksgiving #1

Having to help out the decor team for today’s activity booth and decorations was so fun. Thank God for this opportunity to help out and oh, thank God for the sermon and performance! It was so entertaining this year and pastor Char’s sermon was so powerful.

Thanksgiving #2

Thank God for the powerful two-point sermon preached by pastor Daniel. It really spoke to me tonight.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17

God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to become more like Jesus.

When a person is found in Christ, he is changed. If someone actually follows Jesus, there is no way they lead an unchanged life.

Annointing game strong tonight. Dayum.

Really, thank God for using pastor D.K. to preach this wonderful message to the church tonight!

Devotion for today talks about 2 things; the extreme faith centurion have for Jesus in healing his servant and Jesus raising someone from the dead.

[ Faith of the Centurion ]

“That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant WILL BE healed.”

Say the word and he will be healed. Do we or can we ever have such faith in the current times we live in?

[ Raised from the dead ]

As much as we know that such act would cause a huge controversial dispute if this happens in the 22nd century, it’s the message that we should be putting it into our lives.

The widow, who lost her only son did not beg Jesus to perform a miraculous act. She did not cry out loud until Jesus went towards the direction of the cries. Instead, the passage tells us that Jesus saw her, walked to her, comforted her and brought the son back to life.

Indeed, Jesus demonstrated His heart for the needy and vulnerable, caring and ministering to the brokenhearted. And that is what we should be reflecting onto our daily lives.

Thank God for today’s devotion, for how this short passage can showed us 2 very important teachings that we should be using it daily in our walk.

Well, tomorrow is Sunday and it’s the beginning of Life Class! I hope that I get to absorb as much as I can during the lessons and share some of it here with you guys!

So stay cute and blessed people! ❤

Ephesians 4:22-24 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness
